Our Commitment

Our five week Basic Obedience training is where the building blocks for dog and owner are established. This is the starting line for education and trust building between you and your dog. Trust is a two way bond of your dog trusting you, and you trusting your dog. The more your dog trusts you, the better success you will have during new skills training. The Basic Obedience skills taught during this program come from a similar training methodology used by Law Enforcement and Military canine teams. It is our goal to help you and your dog develop your own K9 team.

By knowing how to effectively teach and execute these commands, the owner is able to more confidently have friends and family around their dog, and you will begin to see the joy of a well trained dog. Above all, both owner and dog are more confident in each other as a team and will better succeed at learning new tricks, commands, or skills.

As both owner and dog continue to gain confidence in each other as a team, our goal is to remove the  the leash. Having the ability to control your dog off lead (leash) shows a deeper level of discipline and mastery of skills. A leash and collar are simply tools to gain compliance of the dog. This program will transition your K9 Team to working without a lead. Off-Leash compliance is the first step to being able to train the dog for more advanced commands such as searching a field, retrieving a bird, or to simply show off your training to friends.

Our Advanced Obedience training is a great way to continue the journey in gaining confidence and trust between you and your dog as a team. This program will be tailored to your desires. For example: Do you entertain guests on a regular Basis? We’ll develop a program and sets of commands that make having guests over more desirable for you and your guests.

Aggression is one of the most common behavior concerns. It can also be one of the most scary things a dog owner can face. It’s even scarier if Law Enforcement gets involved. Let us help you build trust between you and your dog to rule out these concerns. It is our goal to determine the source of the aggression, and during this process we’ll determine if the aggression is fear based or another behavioral issue. Above all it is our priority to keep you and your dog safe during the entire process. 

Anxiety is another common concern for dog owners, and it is our goal to help you communicate with your dog and develop an understanding of their needs. All of our behavior training is medication and supplement free.  If we feel you need assistance beyond our scope of practice we’ll communicate that with you along the way. We promise to be the first, and least invasive step in coming up with a solution for your dog's behavioral concerns.
